I love creating themed activities throughout the year. We are working on scissor skills a lot at home, so I created this 4th of July Cutting Practice packet for Ellie to use. It is perfect for children ages 3-7.
In this packet, your child will be practicing snipping, cutting wavy and curved lines, as well as gluing and cutting out shapes. There’s even a little bit of coloring involved on one page.
If you have a child who is just starting with scissors, I would suggest starting at the very beginning and work on short snips across the paper. That is what the first page is designed for.
The packet is designed in a natural progressing of cutting skills so once your child has mastered one page, you can move on to the next challenging page.
