It’s the beginning of February here in Ohio, which means a lot of cold weather. If you’re stuck inside, you know how important getting active and moving is for our children. Today I want to share some of our favorite movement videos for early elementary students.

My daughter is 8. She is always wanting to dance and spin around the house, so she loves doing these movement videos as a break between subjects in homeschool or after dinner to help with the before bed wiggles.

In no-particular order, here are some of our favorites.

Cosmic Kids Yoga on YouTube

This channel is by far one of our favorites. You can find all kinds of yoga story adventures. Most are between 30-50 minutes long. Here are a couple of our favorites.

If you don’t want to use YouTube, they also have a brand new app that you can download.

P.E. with Mr. G. on YouTube

This channel has a lot of fun P.E. games that my daughter is loving. The directions are easy to follow and the skills also build on each other in different levels of challenge.

He also have a website, so you can check that out here.

Here are a couple of our favorite videos.

RSD Online on YouTube

This is another channel with fun virtual fitness games.

Here are some of my daughter’s favorite.
